“Wine and cheese are ageless companions, like aspirin and aches, or June and moon, or good people and noble ventures.”

Poem : Planting Seeds

Poem : Planting Seeds

I raised my open hands to You

filled with seeds of wandering

dreams.

I lifted my head and said to You

I want, I want.

So the seeds You swallowed,

an Almighty gulp,

and the vastness of my hollow heart

is slowly closing, slowly closing.
